Laura Macaulay
Laura Macaulay joined Pushkin Press as Deputy Publisher in 2016, and acquires fiction and non-fiction across the imprints Pushkin Press, the Pushkin Collection, Pushkin Vertigo and ONE. She’s a member of the English PEN Literature in Translation committee. She worked as a bookseller for many years and in non-fiction editorial at Hodder & Stoughton. She was previously Publisher at Daunt Books Publishing, a list she established with James Daunt in 2010. She most recently published Mirror, Shoulder Signal, the first novel translated into English by Danish literary sensation Dorthe Nors, and shortlisted for the International Man Booker Prize.
Nick Caistor
Nick Caistor is a British translator from Spanish, Portuguese and French. After living for several years in Latin America, on his return to Britain he began to translate fiction by Latin American and Spanish authors. He has now translated some fifty works of fiction, and in 2006, 2008 and 2015 was awarded the Valle Inclán prize for translation from Spanish. He has been part of the New Spanish Books project since it started.
Emma Langley
Emma Langley is responsible for international literature and translation at Arts Council England. She has a background in children’s publishing and educational research.
Cecilia Rossi
Cecilia Rossi, originally from Buenos Aires, is a Lecturer in Literature and Translation at the University of East Anglia, where she convenes the MA in Literary Translation and works as Postgraduate and Professional Liaison for the British Centre for Literary Translation. She has published several volumes of translated poetry, including Alejandra Pizarnik’s Selected Poems and Tamara Kamenszain's The Echo of My Mother. In 2013 she won a British Academy Small Grant to undertake research into the Pizarnik Papers at Princeton University Library. Her latest translations of Pizarnik’s prose texts and excerpts from her journals appeared in Music and Literature No. 6.
