María Camila Correa is a picture book author and editor. She was born in Medellín, Colombia, and has since lived in a number of cities across the United States and Great Britain. She obtained a masters in Children’s Literature and Literacies from the University of Glasgow, and currently works at Little Tiger Press, a children’s book publisher in London.
Ruth Clarke
Ruth Clarke is a translator from Spanish, Italian and French. She has translated an eclectic range of work by authors from Benin to Venezuela. Ruth is a founding member of The Starling Bureau, a London-based collective of literary translators established to bring top quality books to publishers.
Nick Caistor
Nick Caistor is a British translator from Spanish, Portuguese and French. After living for several years in Latin America, on his return to Britain he began to translate fiction by Latin American and Spanish authors. He has now translated some seventy works of fiction, and in 2006, 2008 and 2015 was awarded the Valle Inclán prize for translation from Spanish. He has been part of the New Spanish Books project since it started.
Ka Bradley
Ka Bradley is an editor at Granta Books. Among the titles in translation she has worked on include: Swallowing Mercury by Wioletta Greg (translated by Eliza Marciniak), which was longlisted for the Man Booker International, and the forthcoming The Collection by Nina Leger (translated by Laura Francis) and Lake Like a Mirror by Ho Sok Fong (translated by Natascha Bruce). She is also associate text editor at Springback Magazine.
Julie Ward
Julie Ward is co-owner of the multi award winning children’s bookshop, The Book Nook in Hove, which was established in 2009. Julie is passionate about spreading the love of reading and loves dystopian fiction and books that make her laugh. When not reading she can be found swimming in the sea in Brighton all year round.
