Teresa Moure teaches Linguistics at the University of Santiago de Compostela. She is the author of novels such as A xeira das árbores (2004), Herba moura (2005), Benquerida catástrofe (2007) and A intervención (2010), she is also interested in the essay form
Premio Lueiro Rey for short novel in 2004 for A xiera das árbores. Also in 2004, she won the Premio Ramón Piñero for the essay We Want a Gay New World. On boxes, gender and false classifications.
In March 2006 she was honoured as Best Author of the Year at the Irmandade do Libro awards, given by the Federation of Galician Booksellers.
