The three boys who are the heroes of this book are sad because Bruno, the man in the local newspaper kiosk, has died. From now on no one will give them fantastic pirate stories or sweets, and they will never see their friend smile again. They decide to pay their respects to Virtudes, Bruno’s wife. When they go to his house, she gives them a shoe box that Bruno had left addressed to them. The box contains sweets, a letter, a folded piece of paper and a key. In the letter Bruno suggests a game of clues. Without hesitation, the three friends begin to follow Bruno’s trail. Where will it lead? What secret does it hide? Thanks to old Bruno’s gift, the friends will make surprising discoveries.
