Anillo de compromiso

A humorous novel which follows the pattern of classic detective fiction, adapting this to the Valencia of the 1980s. Two characters are involved in a dangerous adventure to try and get back a strange jewel. Triple Erre and El largo are one of those pairs who are so common in the crime genre, a quixotic counterpoint of one another: a professional ex-police detective and a history teacher on unpaid leave, both with a somewhat turbulent political past from which they have emerged scalded. Together they undertake what seems like a simple job: to recover an engagement ring for an attractive client. But when something can get complicated and end badly, it does get complicated.
