Adiel is a young orphan who never met his father; his mother died when he was only a few years old and he only has very vague memories of her. Protected and cared for by his guardian, Tito Donabella, the owner of a modest jewellery shop in a modest town nowhere special, he has thus far led a calm and anodyne life, but one day all the certainties that he has believed in begin to crumble irremissibly. The cause of this is the mysterious appearance of a man in the jewellery shop and the strange responsibility he gives both Adiel and Donabella: to look after a smal brown box which they must never open, under any circumstance, until he says so. But what does the box contain? A cursed legacy: lives stolen in the past...
