Half a Century of Dances
Martín Sotelo was born in Toledo in 1982 and studied Hispanic philology at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. He combined his studies with multiple jobs as a teacher, writer, editor, researcher and documentary maker. Under a pseudonym he has published several articles for various local publications. He decided to be a writer when as a child he heard the famous sentence spoken by the newspaper editor in the film 'The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance': "When the legend becomes fact, print the legend." He currently works as an editor and teacher while writing his next novel, to be published in 2013. 'Bailes de medio siglo' is his first foray into the world of literature.
