Tarzan's Counsins
Pruden Panadès was born in Barcelona in 1954, and studied History of Art there. At twenty-two she decided to go and live at the foot of the Montseny mountains. After a short period as a teacher, since the 1980s she has worked in the area of cultural management. She directed the Granollers Cultural Centre, with a special focus on theatre for secondary school pupils. Mother of two children, over the years - in a pile of small, illegible, unfocused and not at all systematic notebooks - she has recorded all sorts of observations and ideas. From this portable writing came the story (for children age zero to ninety years) 'Errata. The Tribulations of Professor Prim' and her first book Tarzan's Cousins, in which alphabetical order is a pretext for returning to scenes from childhood and from Barcelona.
