Ever since Nerea was a little girl, her father has been telling her the same story: when she grows up, one day somebody special will wake her with true love's kiss, just like Sleeping Beauty. But these things happen when you least expect them. Nerea has not been lucky in love. Her childhood sweetheart turns out to be a liar, which leaves her with a mistrust of all men. So, in order to forget him, she decides to go with her girl friends to the Villa Magic hotel in Gandía, where her father is the manager and where she has spent her summers since she was very small. For three months they will be able to enjoy the beach, the summer and their friendship. And, perhaps, a new love affair. Clara Álbori employs an indirect style where the narrator is omniscient and tells the story in the third person. The language is simple and the novel has a lively rhythm which gives the reader a pleasant reading experience.
