She was born in San Sebastián in 1957. Her published novels include “El detective de sonidos” (The detective of the sounds) 2001, “El ángulo ciego” (The blind angle), (Euskadi Prize 2009), “Los peces negros” (The black fish) 2005, “Vino” (Came) 2000, “El mal más grave” (The gravest evil) 1997, “Efectos secundarios” (Secondary effects) 1996, the collection of short stories “Ejercicios de duelo” and “La historia de amor de Margarita Maura” (The love story of Margarita Maura) 1990. Her stories have been included in many anthologies. She organizes international writers´ meetings in San Sebastián.
