Celso Castro
Celso Castro (born in A Coruña) published his first novel "De las cornisas" ("From the edges") in 1995 under the pseudonum m. de verganza. Later came "Dos noches" ("Two Nights") (2001) and "El cerco de beatrice" ("The of Siege of Beatrice) (2007, Ediciones del Viento), "El afinador de habitaciones" ("The Room Tuner") and "Astillas" ("Splinters") (both published by Libros del Silencio). The characteristic absence of capital letters from all his works brings about not just a particular aesthetic but also gives his narratives an unmistakable hypnotic quality.
