Life When It Was Ours
Marian Izaguirre was born in Bilbao and presently lives between Madrid and Barcelona. In 1991 she published her first work, La vide elíptica (Elliptical Life), which won the Premio Sésamo. Since then, she has published Para toda la vida (Lifelong), El ópalo y la serpiente (The Opal and the Snake), the collection of short stories Nadie es la patria. ni siquiera el tiempo (No One Is One's Country, Not Even Time), La Bolivia (Bolivia) and La Parte de los ángeles (The Side of the Angels). In 2013, Lumen published La vida cuando era nuestra (Life When It Was Ours), which has been translated into seven languages and was a great success with Spanish and European readers. In 2014, they also published Los pasos que nos separan (Steps Separating Us), her most recent work.
