Enemy Army
Alberto Olmos (Segovia, 1975) has a degree in journalism. He began his literary career with "A bordo del naufrago" ("On the Shipwreck", 1998, finalist for the Premio Heralde). After living for three years in Japan, he published the novels "Trenes hacia Tokio" ("Trains to Tokyo", Premio Arte Joven de Novela de la Comunidad de Madrid), "El talento de los demás" ("Other People's Talent"), "Tatami" and "El estatus" ("Status", Premio Ojo Crítico RNE de Narrativa), all originally with the publishers Lengua de Trapo. As an editor, he was responsible for the volume "Algunas ideas buenísimas que el mundo se va a perder" ("Some Great Ideas The World Will Miss", Caballo de Troya, 2009), made up of texts found on the internet, and "Vida y opiniones de Juan Mal-herido" ("Life and Opinions of Juan Mal-herido", 2010). He was chosen by Granta magazine in Spanish (2010) as one of the best 22 young authors in Spanish. "Enemy Army" (Mondadori, 2011) is his latest novel.
