Silvia Martínez-Markus
Silvia Martínez-Markus was born in Madrid, is a Germanist and took literary studies at Madrid's Taller de Escritura. She combines writing for young people with teaching and her passion for gastronomy. Her publications are: Buenos días princesa! (Good Morning Princess!) (Palabra, third edition); Sophie Scholl: ¡Viva la libertad! (Sophie Scholl: Long Live Freedom!); La algeria de ser uno más (The Joy of Being Like All The Rest) Familias que crecen (Growing Families) and La cuchara de oro (The Golden Spoon). She cooks for little gourmets. Has she ever dreamt of becoming a mermaid? Yes she has - but she's scared of sharks.
