Montse Balada is the author of many children’s books, and she also writes poetry and theatre for children. The Adventures of María Chestnut (2014), The Elephant Mainú and Friendship (2014), The Moon is Here (2013), The Very Stubborn King (2012), Who’s Telling the Truth? The Princess’s version (2011), A Dragon is Born (2010), Who’s Telling the Truth, the Knight or the Dragon? (2010), What Cosmic Mess! (2009), The Bravest Man in the World (2008), and I Found a Hat (2008). Some of her stories have been translated into Spanish and included in the Carambuco Cuentos collection: Pérez the Tooth Mouse (2016), The Bravest man in the World (2016), and The Elephant Mainú and Friendship (2014)
