Salvador Macip (Blanes, Girona, 1970) is a doctor, researcher and writer. He leads a research team working on cancer and aging at the University of Leicester, where he is also a professor in the department of Molecular and Cellular Biology. He has published seven novels, nine books for children, four popular science books, a book of short stories and a text book for learning English. Amongst others, he has won the European Prize for Scientific Communication, the Joaquim Ruyra prize, the Ictíneu Prize and the Carlemany Prize. Ricard Ruiz Garzón (Barcelona, 1973) is a writer, columnist and professor at the school of Literature at the Ateneo and the Masters in Publishing at the Universidad Pompeu Fabra. He has been an editorial adviser, has coordinated anthologies and has published half a dozen books.
