Charlotte Coombe is a British freelance translator working from Spanish and French into English. Her published fiction titles include Abnousse Shalmani’s Khomeini, Sade and Me (World Editions, 2016) which won a PEN Translates award in 2015, Traces of Sandalwood by Anna Soler-Pont and Asha Miró (World Editions, 2016), A Single Decision by María Paulina Camejo (2015), The Solomon Islands Witness by Marc de Gouvenain (2014). Her forthcoming literary publications in 2017 include novels by two Argentinian authors: Eduardo Berti’s The Imagined Land (Deep Vellum) and Ricardo Romero’s The President’s Room (Charco Press).
