Suky Taylor: I ran away to Spain on a giro, where I discovered a propensity to the Spanish way of life and fell in love with (almost) everything around me. In amongst la vida buena I found my vocation for literary translation, did some studying in Granada and Barcelona, then a bit more at UEA. I then moved back to Barcelona where I work as a freelance translator, writer and editor, and am currently preparing for a PhD in the poetics of feminism in translation.
