FEDERICO DELICADO

Federico Joaquín Delicado Gallego was born in 1956. He works under the name Federico Delicado. He graduated in Fine Arts from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and started working as an illustrator in 1970, creating audIovisual materIal. He has had illustrations published in the press, notably in El País. He currently works in Madrid illustrating books for children and young readers for various publishers. He has taken part in numerous exhibitions of paintings and sculpture. He has also taken part in the collective exhibition El Texto Iluminado (The Illuminated Text), organised by the Fundación Germán Sánchez Ruipérez de Salamanca in April 2002. He was the second Premio del Certamen Internacional de Álbum Infantil Ilustrado Ciudad de Alicante, 2005, for El petirrojo (Robin Red Breast)
