In other fields, he is the author of a pocket guide for the concerned (Intermón, 2009) on social and environmental issues, and for years wrote a weekly post for the blog Donantdades on the same topics. In June 2014 he and his partners Maite Sánchez and Maite Cusó opened a bookstore called Pebre Negre in Calle Clt, 41, Barcelona, specialising in child and young adult literature and gastronomy. When he tires of books, he goes walking. He has already crossed Europe on foot twice.
