Following her success with Última llamada, Laura Falcó surprises again, this time with a crime novel, Ice Dawn. Sandra meets Eduardo on Facebook - he happens to be the son of a work colleague of hers, who lives in Norway. She decides to travel there to see him, never imagining that the trip will turn into the stuff of nightmares. Two days after landing at Alesund, they find Eduardo dead in bed. It's obvious that he has been murdered: his hands and feet are tied and his severed genitals have been placed in his mouth. Sandra, meanwhile, has disappeared. For Erika Vinter and Lars Ovesen, the police leading the investigation, there are two irrefutable facts: first, whoever killed Eduardo has mimicked the techniques of the Colombian mafia; second, the disappearance of Sandra seems to bear no relation with the murder.
