Literature and music go hand in hand in this music-tale (book + CD), a recreation of the traditional tale by Charles Perrault by Xosé A. Neira Cruz, illustrated by Rodrigo Chao. The reader-listener will enjoy an aesthetic experience at several levels: the pleasure of a well-written story, the pleasure of a story well told, and the pleasure of music, serving as a perfect medium for the whole story. The conductor of the Royal Galician Philharmonic, Maximino Zumalave, selected the parts of the opera "La Cenerentola," by Rossini to set the story in this new, a bit irreverent, version which allows us to re-read the classic story with new eyes.
