THE VIKINGS DISEMBARK IN THE IBERIAN PENINSULA It's the year 859. A Viking fleet travels to Seville, one of the richest cities at the time, with the aim of razing and looting, as they had done a few years before. But this time Seville is ready and the raid fails. The warriors of the north are captured by the governor of the city, who demands an inordinate ransom for their liberation within a year. The Viking village has no chance of getting the ransom amount, but the women do not give up and, along with some children and slaves, hire a small group of mercenaries to teach them how to fight. A year later, the rescue expedition will be ready to sail. It seems an impossible mission, plagued by misfortunes and adversities from the start, but the women will overcome every obstacle with a tenacity unique to them.
