Jordi Luengo López has a PhD from the Universitat Jaume I (UJI), Castellón. He is an active member of the SIF (Feminist Research Seminar), where he has edited various monographs for the journals Asparkía and Dosssiers Feministes. He has been awarded the Premio Nacional de Investigación Victoria Kent for Women's Interdisciplinary Studies (Universidad de Malaga, 2007) and the Premio de Investigación Presen Sáez de Descatllar by the Centre for Coordination of Gender Studies (Valencia, 2007). He also received the Premio Nacional de la Asociación Española de Investigación de Historia de las Mujeres (AEIHM, 2008). He presently teaches at the Université de Franche-Comté, Besançon, France and, at the UJI on thee inter-university PhD courses entitled Gender- Related Interdisciplinary Research and Studies.
