Juan Gómez Alcaide works as a civil servant in Benahadux, and is a staunch defender of the district where he was born, El Chuche, a place that holds a power of attraction over him that is difficult to put into words. He is currently studying his true passion, history. In his childhood authors such as Jules Verne, Mark Twain, Emilio Salgari, Charles Dickens and Robert Louis Stevenson opened up an exciting world where adventure and imagination can make anything possible. A lover and portrayer of stories, mysteries and curiosities, he believes that the characters of every tale are born and reborn into realities that lie parallel to the truth, and thinks that the most exciting stories wait patiently for somebody to dare to cross their threshold into the unknown, to conquer them and give them form. He admires people who are coherent, noble, loyal and humble.
