Homero is fifteen, the only child of a wealthy Barcelona family who has been left alone as a result of the Spanish Civil War. His life is transformed into a fight for survival, full of loneliness but also opportunities for self-discovery. As he attempts the impossible, trying to follow his father's trail, he is accompanied, in his mind, by the indomitable Cloe, the farmer who saved his life, and will mark it forever. "You are Memory", is a unique journey seen through the eyes of a teenager trying to discover who he is, finding himself on a journey through Spanish history crossing paths with characters such as Robert Capa, Hemingway, Hitler and Machado. This story takes in historic events such as the sinking of the prison ship, the Uruguay, the arrival of the Nationalists in Barcelona and the meeting, in Hendaya, between Franco and Hitler. This is an intense and moving journey: knowing history is not the same as living it.
