You were the Night
Ramón Pérez Montero (Medina Sidonia, 1958) studied Spanish Philology at the University of Cádiz and has worked as a teacher of Spanish Language and Literature. Before "Eras la noche", he published the novels "Mi nunca dicha razón de amor" (My Unspoken Reason for Love, Castillejo, 1996), "Tarde sin orillas" (An Afternoon without Shores, Algaida, 1998; a finalist of the Luis Berenguer International Novel Prize) and "Princesa en la network "(Princess in the Network, Algaida, 2002). He has also written the poetry collection "La mirada inclemente" (The Inclement Gaze, Puerta del Sol, 2012) and "Palabra de Adán" (Adam's Word, Renaissance, 2016), and coordinated the edition of Luz a ti debida (The Light Owing to You), in honour of the poet Antonio Cabrera (Pre-Textos , 2019). In the field of historical research, he is the author of "Crónica del desarraigo" (Chronicle of an Uprooting, Puerta del Sol, 2014). He wrote opinion articles in Diario de Cádiz between 1999 and 2001, and between 2009 and 2020 in La Voz de Cádiz.
