Violeta Monreal gives us portraits of 50 women, perfect in their imperfection - visionaries, revolutionaries, dreamers, inventors, all unique people who have transformed the world. Throughout history, these women, amongst whom we find Marie Curie, Hedy Lamarr, Helen Keller, María Montessori, Clara Campoamor, Gabriela Mistral, Louise Bourgeois, María Moliner, Indira Gandhi, Teresa de Jesús, Amelia Earhart, Jane Goodall, have all made important discoveries, inspired others and taken it upon themselves to make the world change for the better. They have created new realities, led the world and taken risks to follow their dreams. The lives of 50 women are recorded here, but there could have been so many more.
