This book chronicles the Homeward Bound expedition to Antarctica, in which 100 women travelled to the South Pole to fight for a more sustainable planet and demand more female leadership in conversations about our relationship with our planet. Anna Cabré is a climate physicist with a doctorate in cosmology and one of the Spanish women who travelled to Antarctica to study the effects of climate change with the Homeward Bound expedition. But she is also a mother who felt the need to explain to her two children what she does when she is not at home: aboard an orange boat, she helps icebergs, whales and seals save the South Pole.
