Begoña Oro

Begoña Oro is a writer of books for young and not-so-young readers. For years she worked as an editor on children's and YA narrative at SM. She has a great understanding of her readers and more than 40 published titles, including Pomeo y Limón (Grapefruit and Lemon, Gran Angular Children's Literature Prize 2011), Tú tan cáncer y yo tan Virgo (You're such a Cancer and I'm such a Virgo, Jaén Prize for Children's Literature), La pandilla de la ardilla (The Squirrel's Gang, Rasi) and Misterios a Domicilio (Home Mysteries). Her strengths are an ability to connect with young readers, along with a natural style and sense of humour.
