Intercultural education is the graat challenge of 21st-century society. This book is designed in a way that the theory and pracice of intercultural education are closely linked, so allowing reader to not only reflect upon the subject, but also, more importantly, to act. It discusses various consequences of immigration related to citizens' rights, racism and its different manifestations, and contends that intercultural edducation constitutes an fundamental means of developing democratic values.
