Alfredo Grimaldo Feito (Madrid, 1956) has a degree in Information Science from the Universidad Complutense. He is an investigative journalist and flamenco critic. His books include "La sombra de Franco en la Transición" (Franco's Shadow over the Transition), "La CIA en España" (The CIA in Spain), "Zaplana, el brazo incorrupto del PP" (Zaplana, the incorrptable arm of the PP), "La Iglesia en España, 77-08" (The Church in Spain), "La Lidere S.A" and "Luis de la Pica, duende taciturno" (L de la P, Dark Spirit, 06) He edited the flamenco magazine Cabal (82-5) and has directed and presented the radio programmes La hora del duende (Spirit Time, 84-90) and A compás (On the Beat, 91-6). His articles on flamenco have appeared in the newspapers Liberación and La Tarde and the magazines Actual, Interviú, Artículo 20, Injuve and XL Semanal. Since 1989 he has been flamenco critic for El Mundo.
