When my Brother climbed on top of a Wardrobe
Victoria Pérez Escrivá (Valencia, 1964) graduated in Musical Education from the Royal Conservatory of Music in Madrid, and subsequently studied literary analysis and creation in the Madrid Writers' Workshop with Ángel Zapata. She has worked as a scriptwriter on the televison series 'Los simuladores' or 'SMS'. As a writer (and sometime illustrator), her work has been published by the most important companies in Spain, amongst them, two books with Anaya Infantil y Juvenil: "Ay!" (with illustrations by Claudia Ranucci, 1st Prize for Illustrated Book, Ciudad de Alicante, 2004) and "Antes, cuando Venecia no existía" (2002). In 2010 she received 1st Prize in the XXIX Vila d'Ibi Children's Fiction Contest with her book "Cuando mi hermano se subió al armario".
