A script for Artkino
Periférica is a young Spanish publishing company that began to work in April 2006 and follows three lines of action:
A selection of “modern classics”, many of which have not yet been published in Spanish. Special attention is paid to the authors who, after the Enlightenment, formed a singular idea of Europe: Fialho de Almedia (Portugal), Benjamin Constant, Jules Vallès, Antoine Rivarol, (France), Mary Cholmondeley (the United Kingdom), Johanna Schopenhauer (Germany), etcetera.
Some key, both young and well-known, authors in current European literature, with names such as Valérie Mréjen, Odette Elina, Lionel Tran (France), Paulo José Miranda (Portugal), Ana Blandiana (Romania), Gul Y. Davis (the United Kingdom), or Michele Monina (Italy).
A firm commitment to the best Latin American fiction today, with some of the boldest and most suggestive proposals: young authors such as Chilean Carlos Labbé, whose quality and novelty surprised critics and readers alike, as well as such living classics as Argentinean Fogwill, until now published in Spain by Mondadori.
