After completing their studies, they worked in an animation company for a few years. Cristina as alternator and Miguel A. in the pre-production department (layouts and storyboards). At the same time, with the members of the zine, they set up a studio, LaGRUAestudio, where they have worked since, focusing on the world of illustration, both for publishers and advertising, without ever giving up comics and animation.
In 1997, they were actively involved in the resurgence of the Professional Association of Illustrators of Valencia (APIV). Since its beginnings they have been members of the board and in 2006 Cristina became Chairperson and Miguel A. became responsible for treasury and publications. In addition, Cristina has been a board member of the Federation of Associations of Professional Illustrators (FADIP) and the founding board of EIF (European IIllustrators Forum).
Both have always written comics, though usually to order. Una posibilidad entre mil is their first graphic novel.
