Jaume Sanllorente

Jaume Sanllorente (Barcelona, 1975) has a degree in Journalism. He later studied Development Co-operation in the Institute for Peace and Co-operation Studies,and  did various courses on human resources, leadership and marketing. He contributes to various media organs and is editor of the news agency Mumbai Action. he presently lives in Mumbai, where he is director general of the NGO Mumbai Smiles, which he himself founded in 2005. The Spanish government awarded him the Cruz de Oficial de la Ordeen del Mérito Civil in 2009. He is the author of Sonrisas de Bombay: el viaje que cambió mi destino (translated into over 8 languages), with a prologue by Dominique Lapierre, and co-author of Bombay, más alla de las sonrisas. La canción de la concubina is his first novel.
