Kike Anzizu

Kike Anzizu was born in 1942 in Barcelona and studied Business Studies for three years. He joined a network of industrial cooperatives, worked in an advertising agency and dedicated himself to his hobby, photography. In 1967 he discovered Formentera. He travelled through Spain, Morocco, Mauritania, Chad, Europe and the Middle East. He learned the jewellery trade in Copenhagen. In 1974 he started a family and worked as an artistic director in leisure centres in Barcelona such as the 57 year old Sala de Fiestas Bikini. In 1999 he began renovating houses, living in the countryside with his family. He spent time on the island of Formentera living under the canopy of a 300 year old carob tree. A few years ago he moved to a village in Bali off the tourist trail. He dedicates himself to writing letters, stories and poetry and enjoys watching his children grow up.
