Xesco Espar

Xesco Espar (Barcelona, 1963) has a degree in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences from the Universidad de Barcelona and a masters in the Psycholgy of Learning from the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona. He has taught in the INEFC Barcelona (1991-2004) and handball coach for FC Barcelona from 1985 to 2007. As a coach of young players, he achieved 4 Spanish Championships. As assistant coach of the professional side 3 European Cups and 3 ASOBAL Leagues. And as first coach of the professional handball team of   FC Barcelona, the Champions League in 2005, the ASOBAL League in 2006 and the King's Cup in 2007.
He presently works for Futbol Club Barcelona as Physical Preparation Co-ordinator for professional sections: handball, basketball, indoor-football and ice-hockey).
