Joaquín Pérez Azaústre

Joaquín Pérez Azaústre (Córdoba, 1976) lives in Madrid, where he obtained a creative grant at the Residencia de Estudiantes, and he graduated in Law. In 2001 he published his first book of poems, Una interpretación, which won the Premio Adonais, and was followed by Delta, El jersey rojo, El precio de una cena en Chez Mourice and Las Ollerías. He is the author of the essays Reloj de sol, El corresponsal de Boston, La chica del calendario and Lucena sefardita, La ciudad de los poetas, and of the book of short stories Carta a Isadora. He has published the novels América, El gran Felton and La suite de Manolete (IX Premio Fundación Unicaja Fernando Quiñones).
