Víctor Durán, a talentless writer who had a tough childhood, has just become divorced from a well-known painter. When she is found dead with a strange drawing on one of her thighs, Víctor becomes a suspect in the investigation led by Elena Marquez, a tough police inspector. In addition to the bewilderment and pain the crime causes him, Víctor will have to face up to the possibility that the killer is hoping he will incorporate his acts into his writing at the very same time the killer is trying to frame him for the acts. The crimes continue and they all seem to be connected to the writer who, under pressure as a result of the police investigation, turns to Rebeca Gil, the only person he trusts, to defy a serial killer by anticipating his next moves to save the person who is set to become the next victim.
