Murder in Portobelo
Osvaldo Reyes (1971) is a gynecologist-obstetrician, a teacher and researcher. He's also a ferocious reader and writer of noir fiction, with nine books (El efecto Maquiavelo, En los umbrales del Hades, Pena de muerte, La estaca en la cruz, Sacrificio, El canto de las gaviotas, El cactus de madera, Asesinato en Portobelo and El experimento Maquiavelo) and two collections of short stories (Trece gotas de sangre y Trece candidatos para un homicidio) published to date. His stories have appeared in various anthologies (Escrito en el agua, Pólvora y sangre, Revista Mordedor # 2, Círculo de Lovecraft # 9, #11, #14, #15 y #16). He won the first Short Story prize(2017) at the Panama Horror Film Fest and the micro-story contest (2019) of the group Tierra Trivium (#crimenperfecto) in Spain.
