This book covers psychosocial addictions for which no chemical substance is responsible, and its criteria are twofold: scientific and humanist. It is aimed at a wide and varied audience, and written with simple, easily intelligible language. The social addictive disorder constitutes a specific form of disease that evolves progressively, and is often associated with a depressive state.
