Once upon a time there was an old woman who was a witch. She dressed in the style of a witch and she had a witch's nose, which made her look like a witch. Sometimes, the children saw her in the street and, with their hair standing up on end, shouted: "A witch!" And they were not mistaken. But she wasn't a very original or creative witch, or even amusing. She was a boring, bored witch.

Filled with great and small reflections that invite readers to delve further, Centrings allows us to gradually move closer to the authentic and offers the tools necessary for identifying and disgarding the non-authentic.

Published papers from the 'Collections, Loot, Museums and the Art Market in Spain in the 18th and 19th Century' conference. The aim of the conference was to expound the results of parallel research undertaken by university specialists and museum professionals who offer new viewpoints on art collections, cultural institutions, plus their development and management.
